Minalta can best be described as flighty and energetic. Her attention can turn on a dime, and the moment she's satisfied with one thing she will begin looking for the next thing to keep her focused. This mostly ends in her friends needing to keep a bit of a leash on her in public, and her forgetting things she doesn't see as important to the moment.She has a growing knowledge of Eorzean culture's finer details, but won't always get a joke, witty line, or particular behavior. She tends to be more hesitant around new faces and strangers than she used to be, but will make cautious effort for friendships with time and the right motivation.She loves to help out those she's formed a bond with, though she remains far more suspicious and reluctant put her full faith in someone's words. She still holds a backdrop of melancholy about her mixed with concern. Like she feels slightly out of place and unsure of what to do with that sensation.

Minalta is small, lithe, and springy. Despite her size she tends to be exaggerated and big with every action as she tries to make up for her lack of height.She dresses in a nonsensical mix of styles; one day wearing the latest from Ishgard, the next a traditional Steppes outfit, then good hiking gear, only to end the week in a fancy yukata as she goes to see a stage show. All of it showing her efforts to mix her different heritages together.Her skin tone and coloring drift away from the common pale, blue, and black tones of many Xaela. A mark of her Raen heritage much as her black scales show off her steppes side. If Minnie isn't giving her hair a lot of attention it becomes a tangled mess of poofy curls when long, and chopped ragged when short as it rebels against her.

Events
Minalta adores going to shows, performances, operas, markets, faires, and any other gathering of people right down to dive bars! It stems from a general love of new experiences, and she's always looking for new friends to go with her.
Performing
After coaxing she began to sing regularly at venues around Eorzea. From solo acts, to duets with her best friend N'badra, to joining faires, big group performances, and even becoming a member of the idol group RAWR! She's eager to meet other performers and people who enjoy music.
Exploration
She LOVES to explore. Cities, coastlines, trails in the woods. When Minnie isn't dressing up a bit and going to an event, she's marching about looking for the next great view or place to swim. Guides or other people that just want to get lost in hopes of finding a little 'adventure' with her would have instant things to talk about with her!
Cypress
Minnie has held a few jobs around Eorzea, from fishing to being a marshal shouting about fighting tournaments. But these days she works for the Jeweled Cypress as a server, and sometimes running odd little jobs for their other work around town. You may have interacted with her at the Cypress itself, or around town when she's failing to be subtle.
Xaela
Minalta was born from a Xaela father and Raen mother, and spent most of her life in her mother's culture. She's been learning more about her father's family and the tribes of the Xaela.She's picked up on the singing of the Qalli, and has become confident meeting with Xaela in more traditional settings. Though she has room to grow, she also feels comfortable exposing and guiding people through the basics of the Steppes. All this while not letting go of her love of Eorzean and Doman culture.
Aether Issues
Minalta and aether don't work well together. If she touches anything magical or magitek it loses every ounce of power it has like the battery has suddenly gone dry. Larger things like Aetherite won't drain, but will often malfunction and give her bad results.More focused aether like that used in spells or weapons work better around her, though the results aren't as good as expected and bring the side effect of making her feel sick.She seems to know more about the cause than she used to, and has shown signs of performing small little acts of 'magic'. Though she denies it when asked, and dances around the subject with nervous concern if pressed.
Wedding Officiant
She did it once for a couple of dear friends. And then got asked again. And then again. So it's become something of a joyful past time of her's. To anyone she knows, or is willing to get to know her so she can figure out what to do...Well, Minnie would love to join you together in a ceremony that fits you!
